I started with Premier Travel in 2010 but have worked in travel since 1987. I started at our Royston Branch, and have recently moved to our new St Neots Branch – I love working in travel because it’s such a happy job, sending people on their holidays is the best feeling! I’m a people person and like talking to my customers about their travels too.
Thailand, Malaysia- including Langkawi & Borneo, Japan, India, Gambia, Peru, Goa, China, Italy, Greece, Italy, New York, Florida, Sri Lanka, Toronto & Niagara Falls, Jamaica, Barbados, Cuba, Israel, Lapland, Croatia, Turkey, Morocco plus various European Resorts & Cities.
Thailand was pretty amazing, so much to see and do, and so versatile, it was one of the best holidays I have ever been on! I also loved Langkawi in Malaysia, it's a stunning island! I visited recently on holiday and it was beautiful. Japan is also one of the most efficient and cleanest countries I have ever visited and has a culture like no other, I loved the experience of The Bullet Train, the opportunity to stay in a Ryokan, seeing Geisha Girls in the streets of Kyoto and the wondrous Mount Fuji. Peru – to see Macchu Picchu in all its glory, and visit the Uros Floating Islands on Lake Titicaca, what an amazing memory. India for the diversity of the country; the fun of haggling for your purchases over pennies and the locals who can’t do enough for you. Gambia for a chilled-out winter holiday; absolutely fantastic weather, amazing soft sandy beaches, along with wonderful food this has to be the friendliest nation in the world.
Feeding baby elephants milk from a bottle in the Elephant Orphanage, Sri Lanka – this is definitely something you don’t get to do every day and it was a truly beautiful experience. Elephant Hills, Thailand, really a must for all visitors, to get so up and close with these big lumbering animals.
Vietnam – it looks stunning and so different to anything I’ve ever experienced, the culture and lifestyle has always fascinated me. I’d also love to go to Thailand as get to learn more about it every day, I think the people and food would be fantastic and the beaches look beautiful. Finally, I’d love to see Chile and Argentina – I love Chilean wine! I think both countries would be really diverse and interesting.
Bordeaux for a short break, bit of wine and cheese tasting, one of my favorite past-times!!
