I’ve been in travel for the last 24 years! I started out working for the TV Travel shop and then went on to work for various high street agents. After taking time out to have my children, I returned back to the travel industry four years ago and joined Premier Travel in 2015.
Every day is different, I love talking to my customers and getting them excited about their next holiday. I love to see them leaving the shop with a smile on their face, knowing they have made the right decision in coming to Premier Travel Ely.
I have travelled extensively throughout India, Thailand, Bali, Vietnam and Cambodia and have also visited Singapore, the Maldives, Mexico, Jamaica, Florida, South Africa and Kenya; plus travelling around Europe in my early years of inter-railing! I’ve visited lots of European cities as well as enjoying many package holidays in Europe too.
I’m still deciding!
I would love to travel the west coast of America - visiting San Francisco, LA, visiting the beautiful lakes and National Parks and then ending in Las Vegas. I’ve sold so much of it and it seems like a really interesting itinerary, so I’d love to experience it for myself.
I always try and get the best out of everywhere I go, but I particularly love India. I love the vibrance of the country, how every part is completely different. I’ve been all over from Kerala to the Golden triangle, from Goa to Bangalore. The Taj Mahal is spectacular – that’s an absolute must-see!
Although I have had many memorable trips, I think this has to be visiting the Sabi Sabi game reserve in South Africa, followed by taking the Blue Train to Cape Town. It was an amazing experience for many reasons, mainly because we visited many of the Cape’s prime attractions - from the Famous Boulder’s beach (which comes alive with penguins) to the lovely winelands of Stellenbosch and the incredible views over Table Bay from Cape Town - pure bliss!
Don’t keep all your money in one bag - split it between your carry-on bag and checked luggage.
I’ll always give you the best experience in booking a holiday, whether it’s a short city break or once-in-a-lifetime holiday across the world. I like to think I have enough travel experience to give personal recommendations to suit each particular customer, and apply this to each individual booking.
For me it’s a companion, as I’d get bored on my own!
