Tell us about your travel background…

“I’ve been with Premier Travel since I left college - I joined the company in 1996. I started as a trainee and gradually worked my way up to branch manager. I absolutely love this industry and have such a passion for travel - I love dealing with new things every day, and being in such an ever changing industry keeps things fresh.”

Most memorable destinations:

“Over the years I have been very lucky to of travelled to some fantastic destinations such as Dubai, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Las Vegas, Turkey, Tenerife, Kos, Malta, Florida, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Tobago, Barcelona , Costa Del Sol & Costa Blanca, Ibiza, Palma in Mallorca, Minneapolis, Amsterdam, Dublin, Brittany and have been skiing in France (La Plagne) and Italy (Sauze D’Oulx).

Favourite destinations and why?

“This is difficult as each place I’ve been to is quite special. Las Vegas is one of my favourites as I got married there two years ago. Dubai just blew me away as it’s larger than life - everything is so sparkly and new. I also travelled last year on the Eastern and Oriental Express from Singapore to Bangkok, stopping at the River Kwai on my journey, which was a truly magical experience.”

Favourite Travel Memory?

“Visiting the River Kwai in Thailand – witnessing the war graves stuck in my mind as it was quite an emotional experience. My other favourite memory is getting married in Las Vegas at the Little White Chapel, we even had Elvis there!”

Where are you off to next?

“Next is Turkey in May with family – we’re off to Olu Deniz because we love it! We’ve been three times before and are flying from Norwich, which is perfect. It’s a great family resort; there’s a lovely beach, it’s good value for money and the locals are friendly.”

Travel Wish list:

“Sydney and Brisbane in Australia – I’ve lost so many friends to Brisbane, so I want to see what all the fuss is about!
After having sampled Thailand last year I want to go back – I’d love to go to Koh Samui & also to visit Elephant Hills in the Khao Sok rainforest. I’ve got a real taste for the country having seen parts of it already - I love the culture, it’s so chilled out there and everywhere is just beautiful.”

Never travel without…

“Hair straighteners – perfect for dealing with the humidity abroad!”

Top Travel Tip….

“Take holidays; go to as many places as you can. You can always make money, you can’t always make memories.”
