Why cruise with Star Clippers?
Star Clippers is not a cruise ship in the ordinary sense. Star Clippers consist of a fleet of three small and intimate sailing vessels, with the largest carrying only 227 guests. There are no strict schedules so you are free to do as you wish with your days – and evenings.
Entertainment consists of local performers to give passengers an authentic taste of local life. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style and dinner dress is elegant casual offering a truly relaxed approach. Having a deck area filled with sails, masts and rope, there's a lot going on and if you prefer to be even more hands on, the crew will happily welcome you into the team hoisting up the sails. There are no programmes or activities for children on board. With a smaller number of passengers on board there is a friendly environment in the bars and lounge areas.
Star Clippers offer a range of cruises ranging from 3 – 37 nights. Currency on board is Euros and gratuities are paid at the end of the cruise, but are at the passenger’s discretion.
The Caribbean, Costa Rica & Panama Canal, Cuba, Mediterranean and Transatlantic crossings.
